Foundation sponsorship program

The Upshur County Recreation Complex, Inc.'s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the development of the Foundation Sponsorship Program for the Upshur County Recreation Complex. This unique sponsorship program was created as a way to permanently acknowledge and honor the initial significant contributions required to develop an exceptional recreation facility for all of the residents of Upshur County.

The Foundation Sponsorship Program is divided into the following six contribution levels:
Vertical Divider
Platinum Level Sponsor
  • Contributions $100,000 and up
  • Recognition as a Level Sponsor on the Foundation Monument
  • Recognition on the UCRC homepage
  • Four complimentary tickets to all UCRC fundraising events upon request

Gold Level Sponsor
  • Contributions $50,000 to $99,999
  • Recognition as a Gold Level Sponsor on the Foundation Monument
  • Recognition on the UCRC homepage
  • Four complimentary tickets to all UCRC fundraising events upon request

Silver Level Sponsor
  • Contributions $25,000 to $49,999
  • Recognition as a Silver Level Sponsor on the Supporter Wall

Bronze Level Sponsor
  • Contributions $10,000 to $24,999

Blue Level Sponsor
  • Contributions $5,000 to $9,999

​The development of an exceptional recreation complex will require a significant amount of capital investment in order to come to fruition. The Board of Directors has established a goal of $750,000 for the Foundation Sponsorship Program. The funds raised through this program will be used to purchase approximately 70 acres of property located on Brushy Fork Road for the construction of the complex and begin the next phases of site planning and development. Our Board of Directors truly believe in the undeniable power of strong relationships and the ability of individuals to achieve great things when they are united in purpose. One of the primary goals of the Foundation Sponsor Program is to permanently acknowledge and honor the initial contributions required to bring the Upshur County Recreation Complex to fruition. To this end, Sponsors who contribute at the Platinum or Gold Sponsor Levels will be permanently included on the Foundation Monument which will be prominently located at the entrance of the complex. Sponsors who contribute at the Silver or Bronze Sponsor Levels will be included on the Supporter Wall which will be incorporated along with the Foundation Monument into a Foundation Sponsor Plaza.
Foundation Sponsor Plaza
The Foundation Sponsor Plaza is intended to provide a permanent location where the contributions of Foundation Sponsors can be acknowledged. The Sponsor Plaza will be located in a prominent location at the main entrance to the Complex along Brushy Fork Road. The image to the right is a conceptual illustration of the Sponsor Plaza.
